Available Assistance Amounts

To be eligible for the Charge Ready Home rebate, residents must satisfy one of the following:

UP TO $4,200
Income-Qualified Rebate

Qualify for the income-qualified rebate that covers 100% of the upgrade costs (up to $4,200) as a resident in a low-income household, defined as a household earning less than 80% of the area median income (AMI), or participate in at least one public assistance program.

Or
UP TO $2,100
Geographic-Based Rebate

Qualify for the geographic-based rebate that covers 50% of the upgrade costs (up to $2,100) as a resident of a qualifying disadvantaged community (top 25% based on CalEnviroScreen 4.0).

Rebate amounts vary based on program requirements and approval. All eligibility is determined solely by Southern California Edison.

Who May Qualify

You may be eligible if:

You are a Southern California Edison residential customer

Your electrical panel is less than 200 amps

Your panel is not shared (single-family homes typically qualify)

You are installing a 240V EV charging circuit and charger

You meet income or DAC requirements — earning less than 80% AMI, participating in a public assistance program, or residing in a CalEnviroScreen 4.0 top-25% disadvantaged community

Do I receive the funds directly?

Is the assistance guaranteed?
