SCE Charge Ready Home Program
You May Qualify for Up to $4,200 Toward EV Charging Upgrades
Thinking about getting an EV charger? Certain SCE customers may qualify for $2,100–$4,200 in assistance toward eligible electrical upgrades through SCE's Charge Ready Home program. Bolt Blitz Electric can help determine your eligibility and guide you through the process.
Working with SCE's Charge Ready Home Program
Bolt Blitz Electric is an Edison Approved Contractor with experience in the Southern California Edison Charge Ready Home Program. We help homeowners complete the electrical upgrades required for EV charging and provide guidance throughout the rebate process.
Our team ensures your installation meets program requirements and local electrical codes.
Available Assistance Amounts
To be eligible for the Charge Ready Home rebate, residents must satisfy one of the following:
Qualify for the income-qualified rebate that covers 100% of the upgrade costs (up to $4,200) as a resident in a low-income household, defined as a household earning less than 80% of the area median income (AMI), or participate in at least one public assistance program.
Qualify for the geographic-based rebate that covers 50% of the upgrade costs (up to $2,100) as a resident of a qualifying disadvantaged community (top 25% based on CalEnviroScreen 4.0).
Rebate amounts vary based on program requirements and approval. All eligibility is determined solely by Southern California Edison.
